Remote Learning Day Plan

This plan will allow for staff and students to complete an instructional day from the safety of their homes, while preserving spring break and summer vacation days. We understand that remote learning days are not an ideal solution but are hopeful that this hybrid plan will allow for a balance between what is required by the state and what our students need.

During potential remote days, student attendance will be taken, and teachers will continue to provide instructional learning experiences which may include:

  • paper-based learning materials

  • completing online models and tasks

  • viewing instructional videos

  • responding to posts or instructor questions

  • engaging with other class participants

  • conducting research doing projects

  • meeting with a teacher (i.e. office hours, via an online platform, small groups, or by telephone)

As always, we appreciate your cooperation and collaboration to provide the best possible learning experience for our students. Below you will find the Remote Learning Expectations for students in grades UPK-12. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your child’s principal, Ms. Reid, or Mr. Kendall.
