Construction advanced this fall across the district, with major updates to the CREATE classroom, the Edgar A. Newell, II Memorial Golden Dome, and the new transportation facility.
Renovations of the CREATE classroom, a hands-on learning space for students with disabilities at Ogdensburg Free Academy, are nearly complete. The program will be moving into the newly renovated space in January.

Renovations of the hockey locker rooms in the Golden Dome have begun and demolition in the football locker rooms has begun. Heaters have been installed in the new multi-stall restroom at the west end of the Dome, tile work is complete, and the final finishes and fixtures are being installed. Overhead, the framed roof insulation batts have been removed and the old cellulose insulation is being scraped off in preparation for application of new spray foam insulation.

On the Dome exterior, concrete abutment repairs are complete, along with masonry repointing and installation of new doors and windows on the south stair tower. Crews are installing trim and fascia along the roof. The new ramp at the south end of the grandstand is complete.
The initial construction of the new transportation facility is nearly complete, with roof panel and exterior wall work in progress. Inside, trench drains and an in-ground vehicle lift have been installed. Most buried utilities are in place, and hydroseeding and other stabilization measures have been added for winter. Site development will resume in spring 2026.
