Exam Week Schedule
Grades 7–12: Tuesday–Friday, Jan. 20–23
No school Monday, Jan. 19 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Periods are scheduled as double periods for all daily courses. Courses and study halls that meet on alternate days (PE, labs, band, chorus, etc.) will follow Day A for the first part and Day B for the second part of the double period.
Teachers will review the exam schedule with students and assist them in drafting their revised schedules. Parents/guardians with questions may call:

Regents Exams
Students retaking Regents exams must take them at the scheduled time. Conflicts with school exams will be resolved by teachers and students.
Important Dates
- Monday, Jan. 19: No school – MLK Jr. Day
- Tuesday–Friday, Jan. 20–23: Exams
- Friday, Jan. 23: Rating/makeup day
If there is a snow day during exam week, the schedule shifts by one day onto Friday, Jan. 23, and makeup day moves to Monday, Jan. 26. Semester 2 begins Monday, Jan. 26, unless weather delays push the start to Tuesday, Jan. 27.
If there is a delay during exam days, the missed period will shift onto Friday.
BOCES Schedule Adjustments
- Tuesday: AM BOCES excused at 8:45 a.m.; returns at 11:30 a.m. for lunch/dismissal. PM BOCES excused at 11:30 a.m. for lunch, then reports to BOCES.
- Wednesday: AM BOCES reports to assigned study hall until 8:45 a.m.; departs BOCES at 10:35 a.m. to return for P6. PM BOCES reports to study hall from 10:45–11:30 a.m., then lunch, then dismissal for BOCES.
- Thursday: AM BOCES reports to study hall until 8:45 a.m.; departs BOCES at 10:35 a.m. to return for P9. PM BOCES reports to study hall until 11:30 a.m., then lunch, then dismissal for BOCES.
Any BOCES student with a final exam is excused from BOCES during that time. Transportation will be arranged if time permits. PM BOCES students are expected to report each day except Friday.
Additional Notes
- Students with a study hall may sign out in the MS or HS office with parent permission.
- Students will only report to school on Friday, Jan. 23, if:
- There has been a delay or snow day and the exam schedule has shifted onto Friday; or
- They need to make up an exam due to absence.
Semester 2 Schedule Changes
Semester 2 begins Monday, Jan. 26. Some students may see adjustments for reasons such as:
- Completion of a semester course
- Completion of a repeated course
- Change in course requests/requirements
- Change in master schedule
