Running for the Board

Candidates for the office of member of the Board of Education are nominated by petition. Petitions must be directed to the Board of Education Clerk and must contain the signatures and addresses of at least 25 qualified voters of the district or 2% of the voters who voted in the previous election (whichever is greater). Petitions must also state the name and residence of the candidate.

Petitions are due to the Board of Education Clerk 30 days before the Annual Meeting and Election at which the candidates so nominated are to be elected.
