Mrs. Amy L. DiSalvo
Welcome to Grant C. Madill Elementary School!
It is with great enthusiasm and pride that I introduce myself as the newly appointed principal of Grant C. Madill Elementary School. I received my School Building Leadership certificate from St. Lawrence University in the winter of 2017. Since that time, I have been pursuing a more permanent role in leadership. I feel very fortunate to be a part of the small, close knit community that Madill possesses.
I am beginning my 26th year in education, teaching 6th grade for most of my career. I spent 12 years in an elementary setting, having my students all day, 8 years teaching ELA, and most recently, social studies to all 6th grade students at Canton Central School District. I believe all students have the potential to succeed and will continue to encourage students to do their best.
This summer, familiarizing myself with the school community and district at large has been my priority. I am working closely with the administrative staff to ensure a smooth transition for our students. I believe that every student deserves a quality education. By working together as a team I am confident we will always keep our children at the forefront of the decisions we make. I am excited to work with the staff, faculty, and families to maintain the high level of education that currently exists at Madill.
I truly look forward to immersing myself completely in our school community and meeting all of you. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions, concerns, or ideas you would like to share. I can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org or 315-393-7729. Feel free to stop in over the summer to meet me.
