OFA Cheerleaders '07-08

Football players throw footballs, basketball players throw basket balls, baseball players throw baseballs. But do you know what cheerleaders throw? Cheerleaders throw people! Yes, it may sound a bit dangerous and crazy, but cheerleading takes just as much enrgy and concentration as the next sport. Cheerleading may not technically be a sport, but with the stunts and tight, precise movements, it really is so much more behind the glamour of it all.

Through an outstanding mix of academics and athletics, Ogdensburg Free Academy boasts a tradition of excellence through some of the top athletic teams in the St. Lawrence County Area! The OFA cheerleaders are a group of energetic and athletic students, who are devoted to the traditions of OFA and its school spirit. Cheerleaders not only cheer for top-caliber sports, but also enjoy travel to summer camp, football games, and sometimes... competition!

Behind that royal blue and white uniform, OFA cheerleaders are always representing our school. We take great pride in what we do and what our school does. Every smile, every movement, every clap, every yell, OFA cheerleaders do it with pride and with great respect for our school. If you are interested in joining the ranks, try-outs for the winter season start soon.
