The School Resource Officer (SRO) assigned to Ogdensburg Free Academy will work in conjunction with school administration and staff to maintain a safe school environment. As such the SRO will regularly be invited by school officials to take part in school investigations that involve potentially criminal/illegal behavior.  However, the role of the SRO is to be proactive in promoting positive school behaviors, counseling, being a confidant of students, and an advocate for students, and providing instructions/information to students.
