To Change your Novell Network login password

(the one that you use 1^st when starting up your computer

The window will be blue or red similar to the one here)

*** Please be at your teacher workstation when following the directions below:

1) Please click the start button lower left corner of your screen

2) Please choose control panel and a new window will open it may look like this:

If so please click “switch to classic view” : then the screen will change to look like :

Please check the Red N....if it says Zenworks Agent Options then continue by clicking the red N...

(if it says Network Idenity then you must STOP and contact the tech office to ask for the updated version).

Continuing will open this window

Click the change Password button:

Enter the password you have been using in the old password box

Then enter the new password you want to use in both the new password box and the confirm password box (EXACTLY the same both times)

MAKE sure both check boxes are checked then click ok if you did it correctly it will simply close the window and take you back to this window:

Click close and then just close out of the control panel window with the x in the upper right portion of the screen.

Next time you login you will need to use this new password you set here.
