Ogdensburg Help Desk System

Location: http://www.ogdensburgk12.org/hd/
Use the username and password you
have been provided with.
The above link is located on
the home page of the district’s web site. When you go to
the location, you will receive a login prompt (as seen to the right).
Type in the user name & password listed above (everyone must use the user
name “hd” and password), then press the OK button. You may also see a
prompt for Domain. Leave that line blank.

When you log in, you will see the form below.
All fields must be filled in.
If
you do not enter your email address, then you will not receive the notices
generated, and you will not be able to check the status of your
ticket(s). Information such as your phone & room numbers, as well as
your name, will also help us resolve your ticket faster.
The info space is where you describe the problem which requires technical
assistance. Enter as much information as you can. If there is a deadline
or if the task is a high priority, please make sure to note that in the field.
Once finished, click on the “Submit Ticket” button. You will receive a
message letting you know that the ticket has been submitted, and how you can
check on its status. An email will be sent to the technicians and to you.

To
check on your ticket, there is a link at the bottom of the help desk page that
will send you to http://help.sllboces.org
where you can enter your email address & get a list of tickets that you
have submitted.

When
you log in, you’ll see a list of open & closed tickets. To check on
one, click on the summary. All information regarding the ticket will be
displayed. You can also add information or close (or open if it’s
currently closed) the ticket.
Information typed into the “Quick Note” field will be added to the ticket for
the technician to review. An email will be sent to the assigned technician
and to you.
